Bradford M. Emde, O.D.
Dr. Emde is a 1997 graduate of the UAB School of Optometry at the Medical Center of the University of Alabama at Birmingham. He graduated second in his class and received many awards including the Bausch & Lomb Leadership Award, the Varilux Student Grant Award, and the Omega Co-Management Award. He married Angela Dyer, a 7th generation Greene county native, and joined Dr. Kelley in practice in 1997. He is also a member of the AOA, TOA, and is past President of NETOS (North East Tennessee Optmetric Society). He was awarded the People's Choice Award for "Best Optometrist" by the Greeneville Sun for the years 2003-2004, 2004-2005, 2005-2006, 2007-2008, and now 2009-2010.  |
Shelly F. Shaw, O.D.
Dr. Shaw is a 1997 graduate of the Southern College of Optometry in Memphis, TN. She graduated third in her class and received many awards including the Top Clinician Award, the Excellence in Ocular Disease & Basic Sciences Award, and the Sunsoft Contact Lens Achievement Award. Dr. Shaw attended Walter's State Community College and East TN State University. Dr. Shaw is a native of Greene County and married Alfred Shaw in 1997. She has practiced in Greeneville for the past 7 1/2 years and joined Dr. Emde in practice in 2005. She is also a member of the AOA, TOA, and is past Vice-President of NETOS (North East Tennessee Optmetric Society). Sandy is our office manager, laser vision coordinator, patient privacy officer, and oversees patient accounts, insurance billing, and general office operations. She is also a Certified Paraoptometric. Mary Jane Keparutis
Mary Jane has been on our staff for over 30 years! She is a frame stylist, lens dispenser, and frame adjuster. Kim Ricker
Kim works with Sandy managing patient accounts and insurance filing and reconciling. She also assists as a receptionist and patient scheduling. April Johnson, Optical Lab Manager
April is our optical lab manager. She oversees all frame selections, lens measurements, and the finishing lab and edging of lenses. She can also assists in working up patients in pre-testing and performing specialized testing such as visual fields, and retinal photography, and performs contact lens insertion & removal training. Mindy Meade, Inventory Manager
Mindy is our inventory manager. She is also one of our optical staff. She helps with frame and lens selections, and in the dispensing and adjusting of eyewear. Dawn Lowe
Dawn is our main receptionist. She is responsible for preparing all records, patient scheduling, and patient flow, and phone triage. Megan Barnett, C.P.O., Head Technician
Megan B. is a Certified Paraoptometric. She is also our head technician. She works up patients in the pre-test room and performs specialized testing procedures such as visual fields, retinal photography, retinal tomography, keratometry readings, and autorefractions. She also does contact lens insertion & removal training, and all contact lens ordering. Linda Gass
Linda is one of our insurance specialists and record maintainance specialist. She is responsible for scanning & converting our existing records to EMR--electronic medical records. She also takes care of patients' needs as they check out such as collecting copays, filing insurance, and making follow-up appointments. Marilyn Felan
